Jeffrey Seewald
Jeff is a geochemist at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution whose research focuses on subsurface processes that regulate the chemistry of hydrothermal fluids at oceanic spreading centers. He is interested in understanding the origin and stability of organic compounds in ridge-crest environments. During this cruise he is a principal investigator for the geochemical program that will characterize the abundance and composition of organic compounds in fluids and sulfide mineral structures.
